A Little About Me!

I have always been drawn to education.  My father was an educator, and education has always been a priority in my family.  I have to admit, I did fight being pulled into teaching:-).  I wanted to blaze my own way, not just follow in someone's footsteps.  While I was at Baylor, I think I must have switched my major 3 or 4 times between finance and education (as many of my peers did as well).  I did get my BBA in business and worked in finance for 5 years, but eventually gave into the pull of education:-). I'm so, so, so glad I did. I now have a master's in education (M.Ed. in math K-9).  I have been teaching for 11 years.
